Two Great Awards & Grants for Small Business

American Express and Intuit are running to great promotions or programs for small business.

American Express’s ‘Shine a Light’ program
Up to $100,000 in grants! More money at stake then below and so the nomination process is more involved!    They also have an interesting Twitter feed, follow it here. Nominations have to be in by Sept. 13, 2009.  Also I bet winners get a lot of media exposure and TV Commericals.  I found out about the program watching a commericial for the Today Show.  The small business featured was the Urban Angler (go fly fishermen and women!)
