Many years ago I had the privilege to take important clients on fishing trips to Canada and Alaska. Needless to say it was an adventure for an inner city raised kid like me!
But it was also obvious why the sport appeals to those who love the outdoors and sport of fishing for wall-eye, northern pike, or salmon. Once there, I began to appreciate the social aspect.
I especially remember being impressed by a bunch of guys from Texas who laughed a lot, but took the sport very seriously. Their tackle boxes were loaded with all kinds of gizmos!
Reading or better said, viewing Jeremiah Owyang’s blog post “Social Media Marketing Storyboard #1: Fish Where the Fish Are” reminded me of my trips.
