Veterinary Tax does not make it into the budget

Just reporting on a success!  Our veterinary clients across the state, all added a message to their home pages asking their own clients to voice their opinions on the matter.   California Pet Owners made their voices known and the state legislature did not include the veterinary tax in the budget.  If you have such an emergency that would gravely hurt your business in these tight economic times, please let us know. For more information, click here! Over three months ago, the CVMA launched a massive campaign to oppose the Governor’s proposed tax increase on veterinary services. Today, we prevailed! The budget deal, approved by the Legislature, does not include a tax on veterinary services.
