“Election Day & Eve :Wouldn’t Miss It For Anything”

Personal stories are so powerful!

Barbara Rozgonyi, WiredPRWorks,  relates her families’ historic trip to Chicago’s Grant Park for Election Night. Her children reminded her that she would regret not going and alas she Twittered and Flickr’d her way through the evening’s excitement.

Today, I caught up with Deborah Fitzgerald of Smithtown, Long Island, NY and she was excited to tell me how her son and daughter joined her in the voting booth.  The three cupped their hands over the traditional style voting booth lever and marked the moment as a family.

My wife and I volunteered our time to make campaign calls at Barack Obama’s “36 Hour Phone Bank” at Oakland’s Convention Center and celebrated with strangers and volunteers alike.

What will you remember most?
