Website idea from Hilton: Downloadable Wallpapers Page

We just revisited a great website promotional idea on the Hilton Waikolo Village.  They have a great page called “Downloadable Wallpapers” on their website.  Click here to visit the page.

Website visitors can download images from this page that are related to the hotel complex (the activities there and the beauty of Hawaii).  These image continue to sell the idea that this hotel will provide a fun vacation in a beautiful setting.  Once the images are on the website visitor’s desktop, this person will keep seeing this picture on their computer, while they are deciding where to stay. They will also see the photo continuously after their vacation and will be more likely to refer the resort to friends and family.  Also anyone else that’s on this computer will see the images (Advertisement really).  What’s critical here is that Hilton has their logo in the upper right corner of all the images.
