Search Engine Basics – Statistics on First Page Placement

You can see over the years how many people use search engines (Mostly google, then yahoo) to find stuff. People look on the web for Simple things from googling a restaurant for reviews to the more complex like looking up reviews on a child’s school. Also this specific chart shows how people have a low tolerance to go look on page 2, 3, etc to find things. It’s really worth the resources to get first page placement. As time goes on the attention span of users seems to diminish, so be high on those rankings!
